The British Library’s conference facilities were an excellent venue for the 250 people who gathered to hear Philip Collins deliver 26’s first annual lecture, sponsored by IABC and The Storytellers.
Basing his premise on Aristotle’s framework of pathos, ethos and pathos, Collins gave a very entertaining 35min talk on the need for clear argument, impactful narration and a sense of need or occasion. This was followed by a 20min question and answer session of equal inspiration. And helpfully, Philip supplied the collective noun for writers: a block!
